Gather with youth ministers from around the Province at the annual Anglican Youth Ministers Gathering, October 2-5, 2019, in Chicago! We’ll meet for two days at Church of the Resurrection in Wheaton, IL to fellowship and learn from others in the unique calling of Anglican youth ministry. Then we’ll head to Chicago for the annual Rooted Conference with youth ministers from other Christian traditions across the country.

The theme of this year’s AYMG is, “The Soul of the Anglican Youth Minister.” We’re praying you leave refreshed and encouraged for gospel ministry in your context.

Speakers include Alan Hawkins (COO of the ACNA), Stewart Ruch (Bishop of the Diocese of the Upper Midwest), Esau McCaulley (New Testament scholar and Director of Next-Generation Leadership in the ACNA) and Julie Moser (Youth and Children’s Missioner in the Anglican Diocese of Qu’Appelle)!

After the two-day Anglican Youth Ministers Gathering, join us for the Rooted Conference in downtown Chicago. Folks who register for Rooted along with the AYMG get a 50% discounted rate! (You do not need to register for Rooted separately!)

FAQ’s:

Should I come to this thing? Yes!

I’m in Children’s Ministry and my friend is in College Ministry. Should we come to this thing? Yes! While most of us are in youth ministry, this gathering is more broadly for individuals serving in Next-Generation roles. We’d love to have you with us and we’ll try to connect you with others who are serving in a similar capacity.

What’s the difference between the AYMG and Rooted? The Anglican Youth Minister’s Gathering is held in Wheaton, IL from October 2-3rd, specifically for Anglican Youth Ministers. This is THE place to fellowship and learn from others practicing Anglican Youth Ministry.

Rooted is a separate conference in Chicago from October 3-5th for youth ministers from a variety of traditions. We’ve partnered with them for several years and these friends have graciously given us a significant discount. Learn more from their website.

Will there be time to just hang out? Yes! Our schedule is carefully structured to give you free time to learn and pray with others. We want you to leave with a network of friends that you can bounce ideas off of and feel supported by. Let us know a little about yourselves in the registration prompts so we can match you with others who are ministering in similar capacities.

When should I arrive? We recommend arriving Tuesday night so you can meet other attendees and be ready first thing in the morning for the beginning of the AYMG.
